random landing plane falling out of the sky

Featured Replies

I recently started using FsPassengers demo and I seem to have a problem with landing. I am not sure if it is caused by FsPassengers and I am unable to register on the FsPassengers forum because I keep getting a forbidden access on the server error so here I am. I am on approach with my A2A cherokee or C172. All is fine I am about 500 feet from the runway and then all of a sudden the plan just drops and starts turning left and right and nose up for no reason. I obviously crash every time because its almost like a glitch or lag because it becomes a robotic like movement. I have a Saitek yoke and I know its not the yoke itself because if flys just fine until that area. I like the software, it adds a new dimension to FSX but I am not sure I want to purchase it if there are issues like this.

If you are using a weather program like ASN or its predecessors, the behavior your describe is usually due to 'wake turbulence'.  Turn it off or minimize it.

I will check that out and see if that fixes the issue.  Thank you.

Judging from his description I was thinking the same.
