May 9, 201511 yr Hey Folks: I am having an issue with the trim wheel in the 737 NGX. When I add any kind of power to the aircraft, be it ground power or engines running, I know that the trim wheel needs it to work correctly. However, when I turn the power on, the trim wheel resets itself to 14.50. If I try and move it back up into the correct take off setting in the green and as instructed by the FMC, it just moves itself back down to 14.50. Any ideas what is going on with this. Any help would be great. Thanks Dean
May 10, 201511 yr Full names in the PMDG forums please. My first thought is that something is controlling the trim. Do you have it assigned to a button or controller? Start there. Dan Downs KCRP
May 10, 201511 yr Had the same issue a couple years ago. It was caused by a faulty joystick, but might also be just what Dan said. Lukas Vezyroglou

May 10, 201511 yr Author Hey Guys, Thanks for all your responses. To my surprise, buttons of some sort were assigned to my Saitek TPM for trim up and down. Strange thing is, I tried to click them as if I was changing their assignments in flight sim, but it would not register the clicks. So my point being I cannot figure out how they were assigned in the first place. Because I did not do it, nor do I used those buttons in the first place. I just deleted the buttons, and it fixed the issue. Thanks again. Dean Goff
