May 26, 201511 yr NE does support HDR! in P3D HDR doesn’t work as intended with many applications; it has nothing to do with NE specifically, Ok, thanks for the clarification. Maybe it is possible to tune/tweak to HDR-file to give lights more intensity and brightness. Brynjar Mauseth
May 26, 201511 yr it is possible to do that Fi5kuS; it’s just not designed to fix the problem we see; you can achieve a better balance going through some of the settings as mentioned here http://forum.avsim.net/topic/465890-p3d-hdr-brightness-mod-bright-daytime-and-dark-night/ in a corrected engine these setting will allow you to fine tune your hardware specific; it doesn’t compensate for some other core imbalances that have to be cured first (i believe sRGB to RGB conversion is the main culprit at the moment)
May 26, 201511 yr I know it's not what this forum is about, but mention was made of Real Terra Haze for XPX and how the night lighting can be adjusted. Quick video here of it in operation if anyone has not seen the effect. Obviosuly have exagerrated the effect at one point. cheers Peter Peter Allen Chillblast custom built: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.5Ghz, Nvidia GTX1080Ti, Corsair Hydro H100i v2, Asus Maximus Hero IX Z270, 32Gb DDR4 3000Mhz (4 X 8Gb), 250Gb Samsung 960 Evo SSD PCie, 2 x 1Tb Crucial SSD, 1 x 4Tb, Corsair 850W PSU. May 26, 201511 yr does it also effect the sun intensity or just street lighting? Only external electric lights (street, traffic, car, airport, cranes, beacons, masts etc.) cheers Peter Peter Allen Chillblast custom built: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.5Ghz, Nvidia GTX1080Ti, Corsair Hydro H100i v2, Asus Maximus Hero IX Z270, 32Gb DDR4 3000Mhz (4 X 8Gb), 250Gb Samsung 960 Evo SSD PCie, 2 x 1Tb Crucial SSD, 1 x 4Tb, Corsair 850W PSU. May 26, 201511 yr perhaps it's a issue with the scenery "Aerosoft's Heathrow for XP10" Confirm getting the stuttering at Aerosoft Heathrow - not as pronounced as your's but it is there. Stops when airfiled not in view. Threaded Opt makes no difference to stutter for me, although I do get a slightly better framerate with it off (2 - 3 fps). Using the old 337.88 driver BTW. Haven't tried latest driver. Skymaxx not affecting it (easy test for you is to go to 'Plugins' dropdown from X Plane toolbar, then Plugin Admin then Enable/Disable and disable Silverlining - although you probably knew that ) cheers Peter Peter Allen Chillblast custom built: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.5Ghz, Nvidia GTX1080Ti, Corsair Hydro H100i v2, Asus Maximus Hero IX Z270, 32Gb DDR4 3000Mhz (4 X 8Gb), 250Gb Samsung 960 Evo SSD PCie, 2 x 1Tb Crucial SSD, 1 x 4Tb, Corsair 850W PSU. May 26, 201511 yr Agree, not a SkyMaxx issue ... tested that. Must be Aerosoft issue or just too much airport for any hardware to handle. I thought my XP10 settings were pretty low considering my hardware, but apparently not? Frankly 2XAA just isn't acceptable for me and I can put up with A LOT ... 4XAA and my FPS drops considerably ... disappointed as I can run 8XAA in P3D without issue. So when's LR gonna come out with SLI support ... 2021? hehe ... I did try SLI with XP10.36 via NI, definitely a BAD idea. Cheers, Rob.
May 26, 201511 yr Actually I have solved my issue - in downloading 10.36 it automatically downloaded the original Aerosoft EGLL that is standard with X Plane, and duplicated the airport - so they are conflicting. See the response in the org. Looks like you have the same issue. Having removed it stutters have gone. Getting 25 - 30 fps and smooth as can be. Might solve your issue. cheers Peter.
