Piracy of freeware gauges in a payware HARRIER ??

The "Flight1 Certified Professional" tag doesn't actually mean that Jeroen is part of Flight1, it says he uses their products.Personally, I'm not that impressed by any of these advertising tags although not enough to suggest that people ban them. This does, however, show the confusion they can cause. The events described in this thread have nothing whatsoever to do with F1 or their products. In fact at least once during the discussion, they have been praised for their refund policy! The companies involved here are DSB Design, Sigma Simulations (a "subsidiary" of DSB?) and, for some reason, Simmarket, who did nothing wrong but to sell a product that they did not create.Ian P.

Ian, thank you for pointing that out, yes this does indeed give rise to confusion and perhaps mis-representation. If Jeroen is not speaking on bahalf of Flight1 then I withdraw my remark and apologise.
As of Wednesday July 13, 2005 17:08 AEST. We at DSB Design / Sigma Simulation Products have approached Mr. Barendregt with a way to settle this matter privately. This is not an admission of guilt. The offer is being made simply out of courtesy to Mr. Barendregt. At this time, we will make no further comment as to allegations made by other parties.
Once again jwenting's contributions to the discussion are basless, add less than nothing, and seem designed to simply inflame and antagonize.

"He has no financial gain from DSB Design apart from any sales made from his own products since the business was signed over to me earlier this year."Should probably be pointed out that apart from possibly the A-7 (which I don't have) David has been a major part of every single one of DSB's product line. Be it project manager, sounds, textures, models, gauges or flight dynamics. The manuals show there have only ever been "two" project managers. David Brice and "Max Monroe".So in other words, he has financial gain from everything. Bit of a strange line then isn't it?I think that's the last I'll have to add to this :(

Dear Flightsimmers,I hereby confirm that I am currently in the process of trying to work out an agreement with DSB Design regarding this matter.Which, as I'm sure you will understand and respect, is done in private. As not to disturb this process, I will refrain from making any public statements regarding this matter for the time being. Which I also kindly request you to do, since I feel that this would not contribute to the solution. If and when this process leads to a mutually agreeable solution, which I now hope and expect, you will be informed publically by combined statements from me and DSB Design. And to those of you who have supported me in any way in this matter: A warm Thank You !!It has re-confirmed my enthousiasm to make, and keep making, my contributions to our Flightsimulation hobby.Best regards,Rob Barendregt
