Question about REX4 - Soft Clouds.

Featured Replies

Ok, so i've bought REX4-Soft Clouds. I read through the user manual but couldnt find a answer. So i got 16 sets of clouds (whats the point with this..?). Which one should i pick to get the most beautiful clouds - but the best performance?

Mine looks exactly the same! How does one integrate this and Rex 4 Texture Direct?

Will investigate!

Ah now I remember if you have REX4 all ready you can get the update version if you have standalone thats fine to you would install high level clouds in rex4 and then launch soft clouds to install them but there is a patch for REX4 I think that allows the integration even if you have standalone - confirm with Tim at REX forums

Ah ha!

Found the answer.... on the REX site

Uninstall REX soft clouds and reinstall again but direct it to the REX Texture Direct folder... then it is integrated!

Cool!

Ah ha...again!!!

Not just a matter of reinstalling the same file... you must download the updated version... 201500115...

Use your original serial number ...

Install into the REX Direct folder and you will see when starting REX again it has updated and the Soft Clouds are there with the sets Richard is talking about....

Hope that helps!

You only have to run REX again if you want to change the cloud textures.  The installed set will stay there until changed.  I'm back to using the last set (16th?)...I think they look great in P3D...
