June 18, 201510 yr Commercial Member This was a very relaxed after-work flight from Mauritius to La Réunion, in the REP-enhanced Carenado CT210M. REP (Reality Expansion Pack) by SimCoders changes the aircraft's systems to work in a realistic way, and I'm really excited of it. If you don't take care, you'll experience a flooded engine, vapor locks, avionics failures, etc. Cylinders, tires, gear, and battery will suffer if you don't treat them properly. You have to use the correct type of oil and you need to change it regularly. The aircraft's state is saved between sessions, so you need to check everything before the next flight. Engine and flight performance now match the book. REP also enhances the sounds, so for example wind is blowing depending on aircraft condition. Basically, REP and CT210M combined give you the first General Aviation aircraft in X-Plane which is comparable to A2A in FSX. I guess A2A aircraft are even more deeper, and have nicer menus. REP is not 100% perfect, but really close. I'm very happy that X-Plane users finally have a GA aircraft with deep systems. I don't think I'll fly other GA aircraft for the next few months or so. (Okay, sorry, this sounded like advertising, but it isn't. It's my honest opinion.) Mario Donick .:. vFlyteAir
