July 1, 201510 yr Is it just me or has the Flight Simulator Community been boosted since the release of FSX Steam Edition? Wayne George
July 1, 201510 yr Commercial Member Steam boasts an absolutely massive user base. Couple this wih the fact that the product is constantly selling for under $5 in various steam sales, and you have people buying the game to satiate their curiosity. I'm a pretty big gamer and have quite a few friends on steam. A lot of them bought the product and toyed with it for an hour or so. Some were hooked, others less so. The exposure the hobby has received after being featured on Steam (in the guise of both FSX:SE and XPX) is massive. Aamir Thacker

July 1, 201510 yr Author I'm curious on what experiences contribute to these feelings? I'm curious (not in a skeptical way either). Well for one, The vas usage has been really good with it and ive personally received less OOM'S than you usually would in a dense area & my settings are maxed out! I just thought that more users have gotten back into the simming community since the release due to the code of fsx being updated & bugs fixed. Wayne George

VAS has been great, and now I that I've fixed a DX10 cloud bug, my performance has never been better! Daniel Moser
July 1, 201510 yr A lot of people satisfying their curiosity and doing crazy things. Some in questionable taste, but hey. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
