GTX 980 TI or plain GTX 980?

Featured Replies

I would get at least a 6GB card, especially if you ever decide to go 4k on a bigger monitor ! I am chewing up almost 6GB of video ram on XPX !

The original question was about a system for FSX...  ^_^

A GTX 960 is more than you will ever need if your strictly running FSX. What screen resolution do you have? Are you planning on a 4K monitor at some stage?

Not everyone would agree with that statement..

LOL    :P

..that way I did not waste my money when I got a GTX 770

I think I'll stick with the 4790K and GTX980. The 3960x is way overpriced and from what I was able to gather has no real advantage over the 4790k Overclocked, to justify the price tag, at least not in FSX!

You should wait a month and see how the new Skylake systems perform.
