July 15, 201510 yr Do you need DX10 scenery fixer if you upgrade to DX11? My new video card came with the option to update to dx10 or 11. I'm still on dx9. I have fsx +acceleration. John K
July 15, 201510 yr FSX (+ACC) only supports DX9 and DX10 preview per default. DX10 can be significantly improved with Steve´s payware DX10 fixer. Nearly all GPU´s support DX11 today. These GPU´s are downwards compatible but there will be no benefit from this GPU´s for FSX. Wulf
July 17, 201510 yr FSX will only use DirectX libraries that it is programmed to use (DX9/DX10). It will not use any other form of DirectX regardless of what libraries you have installed on your system, even if you have DX11 or DX12. Daniel Moser
