July 18, 201510 yr This beautiful video makes me sad. Why? Because we cruised into Corfu from Venice for a 1 day stop. Met so many beautiful people in town, but never saw or experienced all these wonderful places depicted in the video. Incredible place to spend some time...and I will do that some day. We boarded our ship enroute to Sicily and around the boot of Italy onto Capri, Sorrento. and ending up in Rome. I will put Corfu on my bucket list and really enjoy that beautiful piece of Heaven.. July 18, 201510 yr Great video. I had a holiday in Corfu with a then girlfriend in the 1980s. Stepping off the plane you are hit with an amazing variety of smells from wild flowers and herbs plus of course the heat. Lovely scenery but pebble beaches. We woke at 4am one morning and took a day flight into Athens to visit the Parthenon etc. A great country currently on a downward spin.

Stan Thanks! Corfu, Lefkada and Kefalonia island are close to each other, and you probably will say that all three islands are beautiful with amazing beaches. Visit them all, you will not regret. Pebble beaches are on the east side of the island, and much more beautiful sand beaches are on the west side... BUT, sea is much colder on the west side, and it can be windy and crowded with people.
