August 2, 201510 yr Author Great pictures, as always! Have you done anything to "whiten" your clouds? I think every soft cloud textures is very dark... I use a tweak from a friend from ftx forums Rich Sennett
August 3, 201510 yr Hi again, Rich. I tried these settings and although clouds are rendered in better shapes, they become even more dark, contrary to what I wanted. I applied the exact same tweak as you posted. Have I missed out on anything, or? I don't expect you to provide the solution but I thought you may have some ideas. I added some pics. Have a look I also checked different latitudes but same result. Brynjar Mauseth
August 3, 201510 yr Author Yes they will get darker - thats the point with this - you have to decide if you like it also your shot was not taken at the time of day as mine - darker the environment the darker the clouds - I like the contrast between dark and light - but may not be ideal for others Rich Sennett
August 3, 201510 yr I fiddled around and played with the contrast. Ended up with some very decent looking clouds. Cant spot a black cloud anymore. I'm more satisfied with a white appearance on clouds, even on dusk/dawn transitions. Anyway, thanks! Brynjar Mauseth
