FSX Config

Featured Replies

Hi John,

I split your topic from a very old post.  The link you provided in OP has bad information.  For one, you should never ever install only the 64 bit version of the Microsoft Visuals C++ 2005, 2008, or 2010.  FSX is a 32 bit application and only uses the x86 or 32 bit versions of this program.  If you would like more information about the FSX.cfg, please check out the AVSIM FSX Configuration Guide.

Thanks,

Hi Bob,

Our main server is down (the one that handles the forums, files, the front page).  Although AVSIM is running great right now it is via the AVSIM Library Server.  We have our tech working on the bad server today and perhaps this weekend.  We think the problem downloading this file and some other files is that the file location is on the bad server.  We are close to getting the main server fixed.  If not fixed by this weekend, we will have to work out another solution.  Meanwhile, I will send you the original from my computer.

Best regards,
