Haven't seen a new Ray Smith AFCAD in 2 years, where's Ray?

I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

Have you checked the library today, it has Memphis by Guess who?

Doh!

I used to search for his work under "FSX AFCAD," it seems he stopped using that nomenclature.

Thanks.

And a beautiful result at Memphis. Replaced his earlier (2012?) KMEM work today with the new work just posted and just had to "beam" myself there to take a look!

I'm chiming in really late on this topic, but Ray absolutely deserves kudos for all the work he's done.  It is very much appreciated.

You have made simming so much better through your countless contributions to the FS community.  Well done, sir and thank you.

Ray Smith's AFCAD work is fantastic. I have sent him an email thanking him and also asking for some help. He was extremely helpful[...]

Same here. I have all his afcads on my sims. Thank you very much Ray! Much appreciated!

Just out of curiosity...

Use crosswind airports v non?

Any advantage to not using them?

depends on how busy your airport is,

take KORD for example, when all runways are active you get much better traffic flow,

the line up for a runway in the default airport (only 2) goes back many miles

some airports are not quite as good but most airports work very well when the non parallel runways are active, gives you a better traffic flow if your AI is maxed out

Rays airports and mine give you the choice of either
