Turn off the packs.

Better yet - fly both tutorials.

Hi,

To get enough air pressure you need the following:

_ PACS OFF as told by Kyle but also:

_ Isolation valve open (for engine 2)

_ Obviously: APU running with APU bleed ON or ground air start unit connected.

Check on the pressure gauge that you have minimum 30psi indicated by both needles.

If you were to start the engine 2 with the engine 1 bleed air, you would also need to have engine 1 bleed ON (off course!) and the isolation valve open or auto, and would need to increase the rpm a bit on the engine 1 as the engine 1 at idle doesn't provide enough bleed air pressure (this can be easely verified by check the pressure on the gauge).

Romain, thanks for the great explanation.
