September 11, 201510 yr Every time I land on the runway of KJFK, the Boeing 777-300 touch the runway and only the front wheels sink into the runway, I have never had this problem before, while the whole flight was flawless only the touch down on the runway is a mystery to me. Hopeful, somebody out there would have a solution. Thank you in advance, appreciate any reply. Jacobus Homan
September 11, 201510 yr You didn't mention whether you were using 3rd party scenery or a 3rd party airport. I have experienced the same issue with some other 3rd party airports, so if you are using one, you may want to see if there are any updates for it, perhaps the AFCAD needs tweaked. I don't typically mess with AFCADS and leave the ground alone. Another option, if you have it installed, is in FTX Vector, to run the utility that fixes airport elevations...maybe yours if off slightly? Just some food for thought and my two cents, so take it for what you will. -Jim Engage, research, inform and make your posts count! -Jim Morvay Origin EON-17SLX - Under the hood: Intel Core i7 7700K at 4.2GHz (Base) 4.6GHz (overclock), nVidia GeForce GTX-1080 Pascal w/8gb vram, 32gb (2x16) Crucial 2400mhz RAM, 3840 x 2160 17.3" IPS w/G-SYNC, Samsung 950 EVO 256GB PCIe m.2 SSD (Primary), Samsung 850 EVO 500gb M.2 (Sim Drive), MS Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit
September 11, 201510 yr Commercial Member I had the same problem with several planes at one scenery location but the Vector utility fixed it. September 12, 201510 yr Author Thanks Jim for your fast reply, really appreciate it, the problem was that specific airport from FSX, so no designated airport, after this, I flew from KSFO to KLAX and landing was great. Have a great weekend Jac
September 12, 201510 yr Commercial Member Yes, flattening airport mesh will probably solve sinking. If not, contact point in aircraft.cfg are incorect, due to merged external model, or simply by editing.
