Lufthansa Cargo/ Aerologic

Hello everyone,

 

Would anyone here happen to know if Lufthansa Cargo and Aerologic 777Fs share the same cockpit configuration ?

 

Or, does anyone have a Lufthansa Cargo config for the 777 ?

Not sure. I'd imagine that they would, but I can't say for sure.

 

 

 


Or, does anyone have a Lufthansa Cargo config for the 777 ?

 

I don't have the OC available to me right now, but do the liveries not have the little notepad next to them to indicate that it is a verified config?

I can post an updated config for both that is more realistic, last I checked the PMDG had the incorrect setting for Aerologic like they mixed up track/heading up on the nd. Once I land I can post it in a couple hours. -David Lee

If you have verified settings, send them over to our support site so we can update that .ini, too, if you wouldn't mind.

Not verified or official, just made changes based on observations to be more realistic. - David Lee

I have verified settings for both airlines and no, they are not the same. I can put them up here when I get back home. 

 

When you get a chance, if you could send a ticket in (just add ATTN: Kyle or similar at the top of the message body), it'll help me remember to make a note of it so that it can be changed. Note the source, too.

I turned off the alertness monitor as a personal preference (I sleep sometimes in cruise on very long flights) if you desire this change the 0 to 1

Thanks. But LH Cargo use 5000 as the default transition alt, 1000 for Acceleration height. someone had posted a document that LH Cargo has that accel height for economical reasons. I think they also have door arming indicators I changed that to on after seeing a picture online. I could be incorrect. David Lee

The alts change on basically every flight, since the aircraft fly globally so I didn't even bother changing those and used the Boeing standard ones. But as far as systems, callouts etc. go those configs should be accurate.

Your Aerologic also is not accurate in some areas

 

it should be

 

ND_trackUp=0

CRZ_THRLim_CRZ=0

 

 

PMDG also had this wrong in their config

Any time you spot things like this, we'd be grateful to see a ticket in our support system to correct it.

 

It obviously wouldn't shoot to the top of our priorities, but it's nice to have everything in order.

I have not used the PMDG ini config in over a year. But I did submit a ticket last year when the panel config had TRK instead of Heading.

 

From an unofficial source I have heard Aerologic now use cost index 80 instead of 40. Do not know if LH Cargo also changed - David Lee
