September 22, 201510 yr I'm not sure what I was thinking but in the Prepar3d.cfg file I put TEXTURE_MULT_BANDWITH at 1024. Now I'm rocking 7680x4320 on my 4K Samsung 3D Curved TV. It is absolutely unreal. So smooth. Not a single CTD. Maybe I just stumbled upon something. The textures are much more prominent 100 miles away. ---Brian Bash---398 HR MEL PPL and climbing!

September 24, 201510 yr Author That's well above 4K resolution. What's going on there? gb. Yup, it sure is. That's nVidia's DSR feature at work. It renders at 7680 x 4320 then down-scales it 3840 x 2160. It's wonderful, especially for any issues or "shimmering" from Anti-aliasing. Its available in the stock control panel from nVidia. Manage 3D settings>Global Settings>DSR Factors ---Brian Bash---398 HR MEL PPL and climbing!

Manage 3D settings>Global Settings>DSR Factors Thanks, I've used DSR on a 1080 TV but did not think of using it on a 4K. That's a scary number of pixels to be moving around. Will give it a go though. I tried TEXTURE_BANDWITH_MULT = 1024 but got lower frame rates. gb. YSSY.
