August 28, 200520 yr Hi,It could be. Is your AS interface a brown background or a blue background color?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
August 28, 200520 yr Hi,That is AS 2004.5 and not ASV. So your procedure is:1. Start FE and choose your textures. Then you can close FE.2. Start AS2004.5.3. Run FS04.You can still get the discount price for ASV, if you wish.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
August 29, 200520 yr Hi spook,How so when AS2004.5 does not touch the textures at all? Just trying to be clear for myself!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
August 29, 200520 yr Thanks Peter and again to be honest I suspect at some stage I will purchase your product as the asking price seems very reasonable by today's standards.Best wishesBruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." August 29, 200520 yr Hi Jim,I think spook uses FE in full randomize mode where after the randomize it boots to game automacticaly. (This auto boot can be disabled or enabled as an option)So if the randomize works and loads the game straight after then Acitve Sky will need to be statred after the game.It shouldn't be a problem. Also, with Active Sky version 4.5 it may be possible to start AS 4.5 first; then randomize the FE clouds and then let the game auto load.Regards,
August 29, 200520 yr yes, sorry for the confusion, when I said "use the randomizer" I was refering to it also booting the game....
August 29, 200520 yr Jim and Pete, Thanks for all the help, I own both FE and AS and love them both equally. Don't have time to fly a whole lot lately, because of work, but enjoy using these programs when I do. Keep up the good work. Thanks again, Bob
August 30, 200520 yr Thanks Bob,Your appriciation is much appriciated. I'm sure I speak for Jim and ASV also.Peter
