October 26, 201510 yr When I had Windows 7, it was easy to cut and paste a new livery into the aircraft config. You just hit SAVE and it was there. It seems you can't do that in Windows 10. I can still cut and paste, but when I go to save it takes me to a screen that won't allow me to just save the new livery. I really depend on this to add variety to my aircraft repertoire. Please let me know the trick to saving a new livery to an aircraft config in Windows 10. Stan
October 26, 201510 yr FSX is not installed in C:\Program Files(x86), right? 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

October 26, 201510 yr Author PROBLEM SOLVED. Thanks for trying to help. I called by computer builder, Jetline Systems, and as always, they have lifetime support for anything associated with their computers. Ken, the technician there discovered that when I upgraded to Windows 10, my PERMISSIONS didn't all come over so there was an "ownership" problem with me being able to write to a program. Wow...I would have never guessed that. Stan
October 26, 201510 yr That was my initial guess as well, hence my question. Windows is extremely protective of C:\Program Files(x86) and it is actually well known that installing FSX there is kind of a no-no due to issues with write permissions. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
October 27, 201510 yr I prefer to install any program I can outside of the Program Files folder, especially with Windows Vista or later OS. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
October 27, 201510 yr There is an small trick to take ownership on every folder, using a context menu option. Just google Take Ownership Windows 10. I've been using it for years. Cheers N.-
October 27, 201510 yr Author Wow...now that's interesting. Never knew about that "Ownership" site. Thanks. Stan
