August 26, 200520 yr Good day, Is there any way to disable the automatic refueling feature that refills your aircraft when you are close to a fuel pumping station on the ramp in FS9?J.C. (MYNN)PPL ASEL,AMEL
August 27, 200520 yr I think if you exclude the pump, then it might work. Since you can add fueling stations by adding pumps in some design tools, it's probaby coded into the object.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
August 27, 200520 yr Thanks for the response. Can you provide further details that would assist me with excluding the pump (unfortunately I am not familiar with editing scenery files, etc). BTW, the airports in question are MYGF, and MKJP.J.C. (MYNN)PPL ASEL,AMEL
August 27, 200520 yr Moderator Wouldn't it be much easier to simply not park too near the pumps? ;) Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
August 27, 200520 yr Howdy Michael,The standard Library Object refueling pump will not function (refuel) unless a Refuel_Repair "trigger" code is added when it is placed. By excluding the object, the trigger is automatically deactived.
August 27, 200520 yr Yes, but there are instances where you may initially be parked well away from the pump, but your taxi route to the active brings you very close to the pump (e.g. MKJP), resulting in an automatic refill. This often means that after passing the pump, you must reset your original fuel quantity (to stay within weight and balance and c.g. limits). J.C. (MYNN)PPL ASEL, AMEL
August 28, 200520 yr I've always felt that it should only fill your tanks when you're engine is off and the parking brake set. Even then, it should pop up a dialog box to let you choose how much to put in. Maybe in FS10...----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. Move the resulting BGL file into an active scenery folder (FS2004/Addon Scenery/Scenery, for example).13. Restart FSHope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
