Neither is the "Minimize Window" option available. Both are "grayed out."

Ok, only now I realized what the original poster was trying to ask. I should read more carefully.. :-)Anyway, have any of you tried if the same technique could be used to remove 2D views alltogether to gain performance if one wants to use the VC exclusively?
