Can't seem to update Nvidea drivers?

Featured Replies

I purchased a new computer earlier this year 2015. In my menu bar at the bottom is a Nvidea Geforce Experience Icon which keeps reminding me there is a new driver to update. However every time I hit the download updated driver button a window pops up that says unable to connect to Nvidea, try again later. Well I have been trying again later for weeks or months. Obviously something is wrong, but I'm not too computer savvy. Anybody else have this problem or know how I could correct this?

I'm sure this topic will be moved to the hardware forum for video cards but in the meantime - have you just tried going to their website and downloading the latest driver for your card?

Yes, here's the link to the website - http://www.geforce.com/drivers

They just released new ones yesterday 10 Nov.

This is a common problem. GeForce Experience is terribly buggy and often causes a failed install. You're better off installing the drivers directly.

Sorry if I posted in the wrong category, I did look for a software forum but didn't find one as I thought of it as updating software.

Too bad on it being a buggy updating program. I will have to go to their website and update that way, thanks for the link Jim. It's a last resort for somebody like me, and much easier to just hit a built in update button as I'm bound to screw something up, been there done that!

Anyway thanks guys.
