I am using, with good ( to me.. ) results, MSAA = 2x in P3D3, and SGSSAA = 2x in NI.

You can set it to any value.

The manual LOD bias setting is working ONLY for DX-9 games or earlier.

With this setting I have a lot of shimmering of the buildings/trees  and jaggies of the runways.

Hmmm, I am using the default scenery in P3D3. My vision is not perfect, but I see no shimmering or at least it's not noticeable.

 

My graphics card is a 960 4GB ( ASUS ) amd yesterday I installed the latest Nvidia drivers - 359.00 WHQL.
