November 26, 201510 yr but I did set the LOD bias to the recommended -0.5 setting. You can set it to any value. The manual LOD bias setting is working ONLY for DX-9 games or earlier.

My vision is not perfect, but I see no shimmering or at least it's not noticeable. My graphics card is a 960 4GB ( ASUS ) amd yesterday I installed the latest Nvidia drivers - 359.00 WHQL.
