I'm about to purchase this monitor

Problem is i've always used PC monitors samsung make and Asus. But i have never purchased a TV monitor. Before i spend 1k would anyone say its safe to go with this monitor or does anyone recommend any other type?

Thanks

Vernon Howells

Looks great Vernon. It seems there are quite a few of us now exchanging monitors for TV's as pure 4K monitors. I don't think there are any monitors bigger than 40 inch in 4k res currently. Seems like TV's and monitors have morphed into one.

I have the 65" version of that TV and love it. I don't, however, use it as a computer monitor - only for tv/home theater.

At some point, I'm sure I will schlep my rig up to the family room to see what it looks like, but I don't think my wife would appreciate it.
