Flight1 GTN 750/650 needs full Cross-Fill support for Flight Plans

Featured Replies

I really enjoy using this product when flying, however one thing I miss from RealityXP's GNS was the ability to cross fill, including flight plans...

F1 really needs to add this feature. I don't like operating the 2 units independently of one another. I usually create my flight plans on one unit and would like to see that being cross filled/synced to the other unit, so the plan will show up on the map.

Hope that this will be added in the next update. This would make it so much better.

Another thing is when you open the 2D pop-up on the GTN 750. The proportion of the actual LCD screen where the image is being displayed is a bit too tall. You can tell by looking at the circle, it's actually an oval. To compensate I have to resize the window height smaller. Is there an option to save the settings of your windows? I hate how the window resets back to default size everytime I open the 2d popup.

I'd love that - except they said it might not ever happen, something with the garmin software itself supposedly

I think you could change the popup in your panel.cfg... Probably the last Windowxx entry

Flight1 has said they may add crossfill, at an additional charge..

As for the popup window, you can change the dimensions in the panel.cfg file.

Something like:

[Window01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=937,887
ident=14401
position=8
window_size= 0.340, 0.600
zorder=99
gauge00=F1GTN!GTN750,  0,0,937,887,UNIT1.POP

Thanks Bert, do I need to do this for each plane, or does 1 change affect every plane?

I wouldn't mind paying to have full cross-fill support at all. It's a must have.
