November 29, 201510 yr I have FSX-SE and I recently started downloading and installing freeware airports (mostly from this site's library). In doing the search under FSX scenery I noticed a lot of FS9 (FS2004) scenery listed under the FSX search. Is that to say I can install FS9 scenery into my FSX-SE? Is it done the same way? Thanks Moe

They are added in the same manner of FSX Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. November 29, 201510 yr Commercial Member Some FS9 scenery has FSX conversion files, you can find them via an Internet search and possibly here in the AVSIM library. If the FS9 scenery used FS2002 objects, textures, etc. then it won't work in FSX. Also, one of the problems with FS9 scenery is that FS9 was built on a flat world, and FSX uses a round world. This means that runways can get pretty distorted, and this can affect other scenery objects as well. Hope this information has proven helpful.
