Starting REBOOT at Ready to Taxi stage?

Featured Replies

The title says it all really. Is it possible to skip the setup stage and start the flight at the 'Ready To Taxi stage', i.e. using the PMDG Default panel state with engines running?  If so, could someome kindly let me know, or point me to the procedure involved?

Many thanks

Hi,

Just launch fs2crew as normal and click on the down arrow on the main bar until you reach the step you want to start with.

However you will have to do that for each new flight, if I'm right as there is no way to force fs2crew to launch directly at a different step.

I do it often, when I'm late on a flight and I want to expedite the process: I launch a flight with a panel state similar to the long turn and then start everything myself, until reaching the runway, where I skip all the steps in fs2crew to start from the runway entry procedure.

I then use fs2crew as normal from that step.

It's easy :-)

Just press the arrow button on the FS2Crew Main Panel to scroll down to the desired mode, such as Before Taxi, and pickup from there.

Hahah, we posted at the exact same time :-)

Remember you "only" run the Pre-Flight events if you want to to run the pre-flights events.  That function does not "start" FS2Crew per se.

Cheers,
