December 22, 201510 yr Used FSX p3d for over a decade and only just realising this. Not sure what the conditions need to be. But when around fuel stations you could get fuelled well beyond your max takeoff weight witout rreaising it. Something that could easily ruin a flight at dept airport. This feature is really out date, is there an easy way to disable this globally. I was on the verge of blaming fscaptain, till I read a post indicating its been this way since fs2004. LM needs to disable this or provide dialogue box asking if you want fuel. In my case after loading with fscaptian, I get pushback, and the fuel station is right behind my parking spot. Made a few flights checking each of my numerous add-ons causing the issue, only to find its a fuel station with very dom state machine. For all the professional features that have gone intoi this product the unwanted fuel supply really is back in the days of Fs1995. Looking for way to disable this globally, came close to blaming fscaptain for this.
December 23, 201510 yr Moderator I would imagine it's not high on their priority list. The obvious temporary solution is to either avoid proximity to fuel stations or make weight adjustments afterwards. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
December 23, 201510 yr I thought this was an FS2004 thing. No P3D here, but can't believe that "feature-bug" still exist. Sam. Waiting for the 64-bit PSION Flightsim for ZX-Spectrum ////
December 23, 201510 yr Commercial Member It's not a bug... and it only does it with the engine(s) not running. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
December 24, 201510 yr And it still exists. It's indeed not a bug but it sure is an unwanted feature. I always (have to) take care I don't park my plane near a fuel station (because I always save the flight cold and dark and load it for the next flight cold and dark). It once gave me big problems with the Aerosoft Airbus: I forgot what was the problem exactly but something didn't work and I couldn't use the plane at all: turned out it was because I was parked near a fuel station. Moved the plane, reloaded the flight, problem solved. Again, not a bug but I could do without this feature.
