Carenado PC12 #2 VOR RXP 530W

Recommended Posts

Installed dual rxp 530w gps with unlimited pack. Crossfilled.  Cannot tune the #2 vor separate from #1 vor.  They are linked to the EHSI only.  Also when I use the small nav knob of the # 2 gps it tunes the com freq.  I can only change the nav freq using the nearest vor selection. This only relates to the #2 gps.

To add some detail, in the rxpgns.ini file, the second GPS unit should have these two parameters set:

LinkVor=2

Radios=2

OKay. I will change the radio and vor to 2.

I changed the file to read:

Radios=2

LinkVor=2

No change.

Thank you for the quick replies.

The file as you posted it appears to be correct - the section which should read "2" is the one for [GNS530_2].  If that's the case, sorry I'm outta ideas.

Hope someone else has an idea,

Scott

Your ini file is correct

GNS530:  Radios=1

GNS530_2:  Radios=2

Does it work correctly in the popup GNS windows?

The tuning problem has been fixed in vc.  Found a click spot to the far left of the small #2 gps knob to tune the vor.  However do not have a popup for the #2 gps.

Do you not get an hourglass when you mouse over the lower GNS?

If not, try turning off Instrument Reflections in the Carenado Controls panel  (shift-6).
