Is it my phone not updating properly or has my earlier thread on use of google maps for scenery disappeared from this forum, with no further record of any topic or posts in my profile summary?

 

Mods can you shed light on this? I only commented on it earlier today and read a response less than 2 hours ago...

I saw it earlier, but looks to be gone now.  Maybe your instructions violated Google's TOS or some obscure AVSIM forum rule.

The post was hidden because the subject matter drifted to advocating ignoring the Google TOS and this violates Avsim policy. Whether one may be "caught" or "prosecuted" is not a criteria for violating a TOS.

    It was my decision to pull the plug. My apology was not informing the OP quickly enough. When ANYONE violates the TOS of Avsim will be shut down very fast. Do the same and result will be the same.
