January 28, 201610 yr Evening, I have the latest AIRAC installed on the B777 PMDG, for example ZSPD charts available via website being Google is dated 2013 and I cannot find any that is dated 2015 onwards without having to pay a full subscription fee. I noted way back in 2007 with the B744 there was no SID/STARS pre programmed via the FMC, you have to individually download for free and place the text files in the Database folder. I am happy to keep the current AIRAC I purchased from NAVIGRAPH but for added realism is there a way to modify and replace the up to date SID/STAR files for ZSPD to match the charts for 2013 via the FMC? Basically is there a way to obtain an older text file for ZSPD that I could manually replace my newer data Thanks Jake Roberts
January 29, 201610 yr Not that I ever found. I finally started subscribing to the Navigraph charts using the desktop application they provide and other than the minor annoyance at having to get used to LIDO charts it's been exactly what I expected and now use in all my sessions. You can always create your own zspd.txt file that matches the old charts but there is a learning curve before you get to the point where you can author your own sidstar. It took me several months to get proficient. If you are using a scenery such as the Imagine Sim then you'll end up with charts that don't match scenery. LOL. It's a rock and a hard place. January 29, 201610 yr A subscription to Navigraph Ultimate is about the best you can do - https://www.navigraph.com/Subscription.aspx. This package contains both FMS data every 28 days and Airport and Enroute Charts every three months. Michael Cubine
January 29, 201610 yr Basically is there a way to obtain an older text file for ZSPD that I could manually replace my newer data Hi, Jake, Away from my FS computer for a few days, but I think if you remove the SIDSTAR folder from FSX/PMDG and uninstall/reinstall the 777, it will install 2013 SIDs & STARs, since those were current at the time the 777 first came out. Perhaps if you file a ticket, PMDG will send you a copy of ZSPD. Mike
January 29, 201610 yr Author Many thanks guys for the excellent ideas. Mike I believe your correct, when I installed the 2013 PMDG the waypoints matches, it's the same with places like RJAA. I will file a ticket just to obtain the ZSPD and RJAA text files as I really don't want to uninstall PMDG again. Thanks Jake Roberts

That was interesting, because China's eAIP has already been available online for like a year. Then I went to check the website, and it looks like now a subscription is required. FYI, the last cycle is still available (Dec 2015 version): http://www.aipchina.org/Version/201512/Html/MaterialVersion.htm# David Chen
