Trees Everywhere At KEDW

Featured Replies

For some reason, I've got trees all over the place at Edwards AFB - KEDW (Stock Airport). On the tarmac, runways, and taxiways. Does anyone know how to get rid of these? I've tried everything in the slider section.

Using FSX Acceleration if that helps. I'll post a screenshot if someoine can tell me how to.

Thanks,

For screenshots here you need an offsite storage place like photobucket or OZ image hosting.  once uploaded to that

site you can link to it here.  Is this default Edwards or an addon?

This is the default stock airport.

Try the Lumberjack download in the the Avsim library.

That worked for the runway. I finally pulled my Autogen slider all the way to the left and that took care of it, but now I have no trees at all. Guess that will have to do.

Thanks for the reply,

Some of the stock FSX airports do have problems with autogen trees on runways, taxiways, and aprons.  Putting the autogen slider to full left is one solution.  Another solution is to use a program like Airport Design Editor to create exclusions to eliminate such things.  A third option, and very good option, is installing an add-on airport and there are freeware Edwards AFB airports available.

agexcl_5x.zip by Jim Keir, it's in the Library, should work for you.
