For me MSFS indeed displays only the departure and arrival airports in the textual flight plan, no intermediate waypoints at all, but the course on the map is exactly the same, and when I actually go into the plane and look at the flight plan in the GPS it has the exact same waypoints as set up in P2ATC. March 4, 20215 yr Hi, a day to set up and more.. But when it works it is great. What is the msfs2020 folder to export plans to please?
March 4, 20215 yr Commercial Member You export MSFS plans to any folder and then select that folder in MSFS when you load the plan. Dave
April 12, 20215 yr New to P2A and in the middle of the trial at the moment. I have made a FP in Simbrief and set it up in P2A by copying the required info - as I have seen in videos ie without SIDS & STARS. I want to import the Simbrief plan into my A32NX in the usual way via the MCDU but when I do the plan looks nothing like the one in P2A. Maybe there is another way to get the plan imported into the A32NX. I have tried exporting the plan from P2A and it saves it in .pln format but when I select 'load' it asks for the plan in FLT format. Can anyone please write down the steps I have to take to make the plans the same in P2A and when imported into the MCDU in the A32NX? Thank you
May 5, 20215 yr Newbie here, and I'm wondering if there is a user error on my part. I'm attempting to fly a TEC IFR route from KSNA to KBUR, and have the following flight plan as generated from Skyvector: SNA SLI V23 POPPR SMO SILEX BUR I cut and paste this into P2ATC and validate it prior to connecting and all looks good. Once I connect and then hit the FILE button, the route changes and forces me to go to the MUSEL8 departure. I try to delete this departure, but I get a message that this is not allowed. The same flight plan in MSFS 2020 matches what's in Skyvector. What am I doing wrong is I want the flight plan in P2ATC to match the one generated by Skyvector and on MSFS 2020?
May 7, 20215 yr Commercial Member If you want to fly the plan you create, then uncheck the 3 ATC Assigns options on the FltPlan tab of Config. Dave
September 17, 20214 yr I am interested in the product but have not seen an answer to my primary question. If I create a flight plan in p2a how can I get it into the nxi and g3000 on msfs?
September 18, 20214 yr Commercial Member The normal method for loading plans into MSFS is to export to the MSFS .pln format and then load it into MSFS on the World Screen. Dave
December 19, 20214 yr I noticed that sometimes there is a variance between the active runway assigned by Simbrief with the one assigned by P2A. Am I doing something wrong? Sorry...noob here.
December 19, 20214 yr Commercial Member No. In light winds, different programs may select different runways. If you want to have P2A match SimBrief, then you can change the settings on the FLtPlan tab of Config. Check the option to "Force Pilot Runway Selection" Uncheck all 3 "ATC Assigns xxxx" options. Then, when you import your plan, assign the same procedures (SID, STAR, APPR) that SimBrief assigned. Dave

So, on the flipside, does this mean that if I want to keep the P2A settings, then I will need to change Simbrief to match?
December 21, 20214 yr Commercial Member I use SimBrief to get the enroute route, not including SID, STAR and Approach. On short hops, you can skip this since there won't be any aiarways. etc. Import that, then let P2A select the procedures. Works you great. Dave
December 21, 20214 yr HI Dave, Ever since SU7 (it would seem, but who knows), I have been getting a misalignment of the track between P2A and MSFS. This is something recent. Never had this issue pror. I import from P2A the route (with SID/STAR) to the sim. I generally only fly aircraft with the WT Garmin avionics and have found my routes more accurately defined by importing from P2A. All versions are up to date. Not sure what's going on. Images below. Thoughts? Thanks https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GZF-xQvhTl56n-LEyG8QDoDwtWc6TXkJ?usp=sharing
