I could not install PC-12, do not know what's going on, I want to install in FSX Steam, there it was mistakenly installed but I had to reinstall FSX Steam and now I want to install it I get this

 

System: Win 8.1, FSX Steam

 

Best to contact Carenado through their ticket system. I don't think they read these forums.

I get this same error.  I have previously had this installed on my older PC running the same OS.  It's installed before, but now it won't.  New PC, fresh install, same OS.  

 

Carenado is useless with support.  

 

Anyone have any ideas??

I could finally install the PC 12, do the following:

 

starts the installer and put the user and serial.

 

when you ask about what simulator only do not select anything, just put the path and the install

 

This will not install on the route choose !!

 

will be installed in the following C:\Program Files (x86)\Carenado Installer, that in my case

 

now seeking this folder, copy the all content and paste it into the root folder of your simulator.

 

and Congratulations !!

I would have preferred a solution that was a little less laborious, but it worked so I cannot complain.  Thank you so much!!!

can confirm Wing's solution above worked for the PC12 into P3D 3.3.5 as well!

Don't forget. When you've installed this and updated with Carenado's SP1 you MUST install the pack of user mods from AVSIM forum - I think it's version 1.18. Simple download, copy and paste job that sort many of the remaining bugs out

 

Then, if you have them add the GTN750 and Rolands (free) weather radar and it becomes a really great addon.
