Scimitars and Kudos

Featured Replies

I tried searching this forum about scimitars, but for some reason, the search wouldn't work.  Anyway, is there any plan to release a PMDG 737 with scimitars? By the way, I don't often post on this forum, and  I want PMDG to know how much I love their products.  They are fun to fly, and the only time I had installation problem a couple of years ago, the service was stellar.  My kudos to the PMDG staff, and I wish you all well in the future. This has been asked a few times now that I have seen, and unfortunately the answer is always no. But perhaps, if we are very lucky, after they clear the current backlog of projects they will do a V2 of the NGX. There are many of us that would love an update that includes the scimitar winglets, but it will be a ways off if at all. That said, PMDG has surprised us before. Like the recent patch to the 777.

Would it be possible for a painter to do liveries with them? I know the performance difference would not be there but just for the visual.

I don't think so because the actual model itself needs to have it there otherwise there's nothing for painters to apply their 'paint' to.
