February 21, 201610 yr Hi all, I am thinking about buying this setup: AMD FX 8350 8-core 8x4.0ghzGigabyte FX990GeForce GTX 960 2gbCoolermaster B600 (600 watt)Coolermaster Hyper 103 cooler The system price would be 724 euro..I have a couple of SSD`s that i would build into this system and i would use Windows 7 64 bit as the OSSo how would FSX perform on this setup, with mostly medium settings? Thanks in advance
February 21, 201610 yr It will probably run alright... but all the advice I have seen here, is to get an i7-4790K CPU for FSX. So why buy something different? Bert

So why buy something different? It is because this system is cheaper than the i7 systems, (on the sites i visited anyway) I know that the i7 processors are the way to go but i can`t spend more money than around 800 euros Thanks for the answer btw!
February 21, 201610 yr Don't bother, the cheapest Intel system you can find will wipe the floor with it in FSX P3D v4.5 MSFS2020 Hisense 50" 4K TV Ryzen 9600x 64gb DDR5 6000mhz, Asrock B650m HDV/M.2 Gigabyte 16gb 9070XT, Thermalright Aqua Elite 240mm 2TB NVMe Boot/FS2020 Drive, 2TB NVMe P3D Drive. Saitek Yoke, Pedals, Radio Panel, Switch Panel, 2 x FiPs
