Yup, it happens rare enough to be impossible to track down. Even P3Dv2.5 would do this but if I used the simulator every day it would only happen every couple of months.

Sorry to dig up an old post, but I've been having this issue too in p3d v3.4. Twice it's happened after shutdown at the gate at the new flytampa EHAM. Last night was the second time. When I get home from work I'll find the crash log and post it here. Has anyone been able to track down the cause yet? I'm glad it happens at the end of my flights, I had just arrived from Denver, no issues on the way...

Looked for a p3d crash report but couldn't find one. I did find a COUATL one though. I am now thinking that GSX was the culprit and that the moment of crashing while switching on the dome light was mere coincidence both times.

 

Will post my crash report over at FSDreamTeam, perhaps it will help them.
