WOAI is alive and well

Featured Replies

Wow! I don't believe I am there yet, but the world seems well covered...

One last one as I was visiting Dubai: 142 AI planes, pretty much all Home Team.

Holy crap - how long does it take to load sim and you dont run all of this wile simming right ? looks great

As mentioned... load time is leisurely :)

I can and do run this in my sim, because - and you probably do not want to hear this - this is FS9.5. ( a fictitious simluator based on FS2004 but somewhat added on to).

The boot time with a custom AI setup is about 1-3 minutes if the AI aircraft are on an SSD, and about double that if on a HDD. 140 ish AI around Dubai isn't too bad as there's not much else nearby.  I've done some east coast USA flights  as well as SoCal or around Heathrow with 600-800 AI aircraft in the bubble.

Time to clean up your duplicate flightplans, then...

Duplicates? That's blasphemy! lol. There's simply a lot of aircraft out there.

True... Heathrow showed 537 active aircraft yesterday, and I have no GA included

At least one of them was not WOAI:

Over at Frankfurt, there is much less neighbourhood activity, 183 planes total, but a good assortment of tails on the apron:

Not all civilian fixed-wing either. Here's an instance where payware has it over any freeware offering. The S-76 belongs to UTT, but I have other helos injected at my pleasure, using Flight 1's offering.

I like EDDF as it has plenty of room over the runway for odds and sods in the cargo department, not WOAI true, but you could only tinker like this if you already had a decent AI base set.

That looks awesome, spotted the retro NWA machine and BA Avro!

Mmm my sim is 2006 - probably "Retro" now, with occasional modern bits!

American Airlines appear randomly in old and new liveries, can't quite make out why.

To be honest, AI is little more than decorative moving scenery to me.

I gave up updating the individual bits long ago.

The more reason to like WOAI, as I can painlessly plug in any new offering from them.

Well either way you look at it, your AI still looks miles better than any of the payware offerings.
