June 12, 20169 yr (1) Ok will do, I'll uninstall it right now. (2) Yes, EZCA is still working. (3) No music when starting P3D but I DID hear it one time last night ONLY when starting FSX. But UT2 was then not present in FSX when I ran FSX. (4) That I have no idea on. Okay, I uninstalled it but don't know what Fake copy FSX folders I'm looking for in ProgramData or AppData Roaming and Documents. And all I found with Migration was this in the main P3D folder, "Migrationtool.lock" which I deleted. Otherwise I uninstalled the migration tool and rebooted. Deleted the Simobjects.cfg and ran P3D, then quit it. Then I added in those lines and re-ran P3D still no UT2. Jack Sawyer
June 12, 20169 yr Author Yes, Make sure you Uninstall the Migration Tool. Uninstall it, Restart your Computer. Make sure the Fake FSX folder in these locations have been removed. Please Note, Be sure not to remove your Actual Real FSX folders. Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► You ► AppData ► Roaming ► Microsoft ► FSX Documents ► Flight Simulator X Files This is most Important, Be sure these files have also been removed in your Main Prepar3D folder when you Uninstall the Migration Tool.

I do not have AppData under ProgramData I have AppData under C > Users > Jetline > AppData > Roaming > Microsoft > FSX but I think this is the real one. And under Local Disk I do not have Documents. Under C I have Documents and Settings but the folder has a lock icon on it and I can't open it. Also, you want me to remove ALL those files in the main P3D folder? Everything in the red box? When you have the Tool Enabled it will have a little Copy sign beside it and will turn your Real FSX folders to Off "Renaming them" If you have Uninstall the Migration Tool through your Control Panel and Restarted your Computer, If you have only 1 FSX folder in these location, These are your Real ones, Don't delete them

So I deleted all the items in the red box all I could not find were these as they must have been deleted when I uninstalled it: LegacyMode.exe MigTool.dll MigTool.log All the others are gone. Yikes! The absolute very beginning? If so is it okay to make copy of my P3D cfg file first and place it back AFTER I rename the P3D cfg file to fsx.cfg? I just don't want to lose all my settings. Check the posts i made earlier (4) Your Simobjects.cfg is all messed up looking, The Numbers should read, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 Delete your Simobjects.cfg, Start Prepar3D and let it build a new one and then add this to the Bottom of it [Entry.10] Path=SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft Required=True Active=True Like i said, Delete your Simobjects.cfg and let it rebuild a nice new one, Then add your Entry in If your last Entry is number 9 in your simobjects.cfg, well then you can Directly Copy and Paste the Entry i have posted above, If you have anything else in your simobjects.cfg you will have to change the number at the bottom to correspond 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 From the Top to the Bottom, The Numbers have to run correctly
June 12, 20169 yr Ok, first I just made a copy of Prepar3d.exe, save it to the desktop, renamed it to fsx.exe and placed it in the main P3D folder. Ran P3D, still nothing. So now I'm having a loot al all the files as described in your post in the beginning. I'll start with this one, the simobjects.cfg I just went over everything from the very beginning. The only thing I needed to add was the line SimObjectpaths.0SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft. Ran P3D and it still won't run. I'm baffled. Gosh, this is frustrating especially when so many others have it working. I went through a third time following along very closely. I DID find I had the wrong path in the UT2 Settings file. I changed it to what your screenshot says and I still do not have it working. I don't know what else to do. It must be something simple. Jack Sawyer

There is only 2 things that make the UT2 planes appear in Prepar3D (1) Configuring Simobjects.cfg If you only have 9 Entries in your Simobjects.cfg, Well then it should look exactly like this Go here ► Computer ► Local Disk (C:) ►ProgramData ► Lockheed Martin ► PreparD v3 Click on Simobjects.cfg. You will need to add an at the bottom. Click the Picture and Read the Tex. Be sure that you have the Numbers correct. Click File and Save it Your exe.xml file Located here Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► you ► AppData ► Roaming ► Lockheed Martin ► PreparD v3 Are you hearing Music when you start Prepar3D?? If your not hearing Music, there is a problem with your exe.xml file Have you set up your path Correctly in your exe.xml file? Have you spelt it Exactly correct as to where you have Installed Prepar3D, If your even one letter or space out, UT2 will not start G:\P3D\\Flight One Software\Ultimate Traffic Is this Path correct, Do you have Prepar3D Installed on your G Driver? Should that not read Prepar3D V3 instead of P3D? Confirm these and come back to me
