Ultimate Traffic 2 Prepar3D v3 & v4

Only the P3D one. I assume that the fsx.cfg file is for FSX?

Yes, that's the fsx.cfg in the P3D folder.

ok, gonna delete them all, but aren't they needed by P3D?

Just asking.

Well, I deleted all the SimObject paths in the P3D cfg file, saved it.

Then I ran P3D

Same old story.

No music.

No add-on menu

No planes.

:(

This is why I mentioned this to Elaine. I do not have an fsx.cfg file installed, and yet UT2 works just fine in P3D.

As for being needed by P3D, you should have a separate SimObjects.cfg file for them, with the last entry being.....

[Entry.10]

Path=SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft

Required=True

Active=True

Please note that I amended Post#115........

<Path>G:\\P3D\Flight One Software\Ultimate Traffic

This statement in your exe.xml file should be........

<Path>G:\P3D\Flight One Software\Ultimate Traffic 2\UT2Services.exe<\Path>

Very good Christopher.

Jack,  Here is a long shot.........

Your exe.xml file in ProgramData,  Can you locate this and tell me if you have any Entries in there apart from the Header Code,  Ill tell you why.........

When you Install a an Add On,  Sometimes it will Install an Entry into your exe.xml file in ProgramData,  When you start Prepar3D both exe.xml files will merge together,  sometimes they dont though.

Can you check your exe.xml file in ProgramData,  tell me whats in there

He has posted his exe.xml file, Elaine......and it has references to other executables (eg. Couatl).

I don't understand what you want me to do

For the record, this is my UT2Settings.cfg file.....

[Main]
FSX cfg File Location =C:\Users\Christopher\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Prepar3D.cfg
hideDisclaimer=1
hideBackup=1
FSX Location=c:\program files (x86)\lockheed martin\prepar3d v3

Have you changed that line in your exe.xml file, Jack? If not, please do so now, and test again.

Jack,  Can you tell me whats in your exe.xml file located here,   Not the one in AppData\Roaming

ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D V3

Tell me whats in your exe.xml file,  Also whats in your dll.xml file.  You see Jack if an Entry has been Installed in both exe.xml files in these 2 different, that could be something

Jack,

Look at your exe.xml file above. The fifth line from the bottom. This is not the same as the adjusted statement that I posted. Please change it to.........

<Path>G:\P3D\Flight One Software\Ultimate Traffic 2\UT2Services.exe<\Path>

You also need to change the "FSX Location=" statement in your UT2Settings.cfg file to......

FSX Location=G:\P3D\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3

I have to go to bed now, guys. I hope that Elaine and I have given you sufficient information to resolve your problem, Jack. If not, I will keep trying tomorrow. Good night! :smile:
