Ultimate Traffic 2 Prepar3D v3 & v4

Elaine,

It opens with ONE error. This is a Program Error - Error evaluating aircraft repaints - SQLite error - near "A6" : syntax error. This error was also displayed when I was using FSX, so it has nothing to do with using UT2 in P3D. When I click on "OK", I can access the full UT2 Control Panel without problems.

Very good Christopher.  Yes, it wont effect Prepar3D at,  To be honest i don't use the UT2 control panel at all.  I just link up the paths so not give me errors

I'm back, should I restore the xml.exe file?

Heres a crazy question,   Did you Install Ultimate Traffic 2?    http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=ut2

Or did you Install Ultimate Traffic Summer Scheduled ?   http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=ut2f2013

I installed the full version.  I'd like to install summer and have it ready to go if this gets working.

According to your guide I have all the correct UT2 folders present.

Just confirm this for me,  In your main Prepar3D folder have you got all these files in the Red box

I have Win 7 with updates turned off so I am not nagged by MS for Win 10.

I don't think I have Defender enabled.

Yes, just checked, it is disabled.

Yup, every one of them.

Well then Jack I'm afraid I'm absolutely stumped at this point.  All the information in these pages is everything i know about Ultimate Traffic 2.

I will say this though............

The one thing that Launches UT2 is your exe.xml file,   When it Launches the Music will Play,    Even if you have Nothing else connected up just the exe.xml file,  you will still here the music

If you get to the point of hearing the Music, you know your exe.xml file is good,  If you get to this point and wonder why you dont see planes,  well then the missing piece is your simobjects.cfg

So in short,  There are only 2 things that make UT2 Launch and see planes and thats your exe.xml file and your simobjects.cfg.  Everything else can be done afterwards (Control Panel)

I have taken for Granted that you did Uninstall the Migration Tool?!?   http://www.avsim.com/topic/485133-how-do-i-install-ultimate-traffic-2-prepar3d-v3/?p=3436933

Here is the post for your  exe.xml file  http://www.avsim.com/topic/485133-how-do-i-install-ultimate-traffic-2-prepar3d-v3/?p=3437112

Go back over the exe.xml file again,  I'm convinced this is your problem,  Make sure I inputted your correct Drive number and folder location

I was afraid of this.

Yes, I did delete the migration tool exactly as you described.

I am trying again with your xml.exe after rebooting.

Do you think it could be because I have it or had it installed in FSX?

Could it possibly be a registry error?

Wish like heck I could get this to work because now it won't work in P3D OR FSX.

I am really disappointed.

First, exe.xml.

Path looks to be correct because this is the exact path that the Windows Explorers shows to P3D.

Computer > P3D (G:) > P3D

Is your G drive actually called P3D (G:)?

Could that stupid migration tool have damaged something behind the scenes?

I was a fool to install it.

No I might have to format my G drive and start all over again but what if that bloody tool left remnants in the registry?

I have read absolutely nothing but bad posts about that tool.

Good point.

I wish I could post a screenshot but the Orbx Image hosting has been up and down for a week now and it's down now.

When I look at Windows Explorer and it shows all my drives I have:

Primary SSD (C:)

Acronis 2 (E:)

Global backups (F:)

P3D (G:)

Secondary SSD (X:)

Good point.

Do Not do anything Drastic.  Formatting your hard Drive will Not do anything.

Loads of folks use the Migration Tool.   I'm not a fan of it anymore but loads are,  In most cases its over kill,  It does add a lot of complication to things

If you can post some screen shots, we can look into it further
