Wow. Did you tweak those datarefs any further ?
Today I did a flight with your recommendations in the Southern Alps, and I felt the heat of the hot air :-) .

You are doing a great job with this sim.

Do you mind sharing your skycolors and art controls  ? this looks very nice.

For art controls, try:

atmo/scatter_raleigh_b=41

atmo/scatter_raleigh_g=17

atmo/scatter_raleigh_r=5.6

skyc/min_shadow_angle=-90

sgadow/total_fade_ratio=1

skyc/tone_ratio_mount=0 or 1

All experimental, don't expect perfect results in every possible case. :smile:

The best shots on XP !

@Murmur ;

do you have your objets and trees set to max (in graphic settings) ?

the textures are very nice : are they the default ones ? any special settings in graphic or driver options ?

(I don't have so detailled textures)

Yes objects and trees to max, but you'll need a very powerful PC for that. On my old notebook, I get single digits FPS with those settings.

Textures are default, at max resolution.

@Murmur,

 The lighting now looks so much better , in fact the grass looks very nice, but this has a bad effect on clouds, my clouds are bright white.  Can those be helped ?

Try this. It has original cloud colors.
