I'd buy a lot of their stuff but unfortunately for me it looks like most requires either Acceleration or the Steam version to be installed. I run regular boxed with SP2 but now that I've had it working well for years I don't want to take the slim chance that installing Acceleration might cause troubles for me.

I can't comment on the technical reasons why Acceleration is required, but indeed it (or the Steam version of FSX) is most definitely a requirement for most of the MV products.

 

However, what I wanted to point out is that the Steam version of FSX is quite painless to install, and you could always just install it 'side-by'side', allowing you to keep your SP2 install complete and intact.
