October 12, 200520 yr >Concorde was long haul, albeit with short haul times. The>decision not to move it to the classic fleet on BAV is for the>same reason BAV retains a Training Captain. ...Because BA>(and BAV) are proud of Concorde.>>Don't forget, in reality Concorde is still BAs>flagship.>Concorde was apparently in the short-haul fleet because of its short endurance. (Many do not count trans-Atlantic as long-haul anyway!!)Glad you agree that departing from 'reality' has its rewards when the occasion demands!Incidentally, the B747-400 currently comes first in the BA fleet listing (too right!!). Concorde is only mentioned in an historic 'celebration'. But your loyalty to the type is acknowledged, we each have our favourites!Have fun,Michael
October 12, 200520 yr Short endurance with respect to time but equals big distances. Trans-At are always LH. Take it from me mate, I work for BA.On "the listing" I've no idea what you're talking about. Order means nothing and I assure you the 744 does not hold any primacy in our VA.Cheers,Paulhttp://www.bavirtual.org/images/sigs/paul_sst.jpg
October 12, 200520 yr PMJI:Sounds like a great package.I have not used too many real fast airplanes in FS9, but I recall hearing that in some of the fast ones the scenery can't load fast enough to keep up with the aircraft at altitude. Is this a problem at all with SSTSIM?I fly mostly LDS767 and have not had any problems but obviously this is a bit faster :-)DamonAMD 64 3800+1 gig RAMGeForce 6600GT 128mb
