gap at bottom of screen when fullscreen p3d v3.0 toolbar size

Featured Replies

Hello

a random one that ive only just noticed.after months of using v3

Using p3d v3.0 , when I go full screen by hitting alt and enter the sim goes full screen but at the bottom of the screen under

"parking breaks on" there is black strip the exactly same size of the taskbar..

so its not really full screen its sitting on the taskbar in fullscreen if that makes sense. Also if the notification "your windows defender is out of date" for example pings up while im on fullscreen it comes up over the sim, so once again its not fullscreen.

Im using windows 10 64 bit with a 980 ti with latest drivers.

some help chaps, and thanks as always

Have you attempted to 'resize' your display?

Yes, by using the resizing controls that are on your monitor that allow you to reposition or stretch your image to fit the screen properly.

Ive sussed it by clicking on autofill view in settings... topic can be closed.

I've noticed this happening when opening the P3D 3.2 default scenario, where the zoom is preset to 0.3.  Zooming to 0.4 or higher fills the screen. I haven't bothered investigating the reason for the gap because I only use the default screen to load saved scenerios where my main screen is outside view only and usually set at 0.6 zoom.

Do you have the taskbar hidden in normal windows? Right click taskbar - properties - check Auto Hide. See if that helps.
