May 15, 201610 yr Ive been on 3.0 since it came out and havnt been keeping up on developments the past 3 or 4 months but noticed we are up to 3.2. Is it a worthwhile upgrade to make? I always do a fesh install so it usally takes me several hours to get everyhting loaded back up. For some odd reason I have been getting tons of stutters which I never had before. I have a 6600k @4.6 and a GTX980ti so I am hoping 3.2 is a bit smoother than 3.0. Any advice would help! 7900x3d , 64gb 6200mhz 30CL Ram, RTX 3080
May 15, 201610 yr I am curious as well. I am still on 3.1. P3D seems to have very annoying micro stutters with my rig, whereas FSX-SE has none. Very annoying. I have turned off road traffics, not sure what else I have to do. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
May 16, 201610 yr Anyone? You can follow this guide and you dont have to start over but would be a good idea if you have a ton of stuff loaded - in the end IMO may save you time installing fresh - less problems - no harm trying the update first - yes 3.2 is way better than 3.0 http://www.avsim.com/topic/484945-how-do-i-update-prepar3d-v3-using-the-new-installers/ Rich Sennett
May 16, 201610 yr If you follow the instructions and just upgrade the Client and the content, if you have on screen menus in any add ons, it will work perfectly and it saves you the nightmare of having to reload all your add ons.
