May 22, 201610 yr There are lots of great options for flying in Europe and North America, but why is it so hard to find payware airports for other populous regions of the world? And not just Brazil, Russia, India, and China, but more generally I'd love to get some good recommendations for any payware airports anywhere in South America, Africa, the Middle East, or Southern Asia. I need to expand my horizons, but after spending so much time with the likes of UK2000, Flytampa, Flightbeam, FSDT, and Orbx, it's just so hard to go back to stock airports, especially if the destination is a new one. Any pointers? Andrew Farmer My flight sim blog: Fly, Farmer, Fly!
May 22, 201610 yr I think that there's several high-quality freeware airports out for Russia (can't tell you any names, unfortunately), and several payware airports for China:http://secure.simmarket.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=china My 'area of specialty' is the Middle East. If you want obscure and interesting destinations, check out http://www.syriasim.org/. For freeware, their scenery is quite good, and I can personally attest that their Damascus scenery is highly accurate. Also, both SDG and ARMI have a version of Cario (HECA). Orientalsim's Baghdad (http://secure.simmarket.com/orientalsim-baghdad-intl-(de_4391).phtml) isn't compatible with P3D but maybe it's of interest to you anyway. Moving south, there's Riyadh (http://secure.simmarket.com/armi-project-oerk-king-khalid-fsx.phtml) and Jeddah (http://secure.simmarket.com/bdoaviation-king-abdul-aziz-international-airport-fsx.phtml), and of course FlyTampa's Dubai. There's plenty of scenery for obscure, out-of-the-way, and undeveloped places, you just need to do a bit of digging. This resource is pretty up to date: http://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx.html

Any pointers? Check out this URL http://www.flightsim-scenery.com/fsx.html AFAIK it has the most extensive flight simulator scenery database. You will find lots of things that will interesting for you. May 22, 201610 yr I particularly recommend Baku http://drzewiecki-design.net/ which was released yesterday. It is an awesome scenery. There are many other great payware sceneries including anything by FSDG http://fsdg-online.com/14-sceneries or PACSIM http://islandsim.com/pacsim-store.html Dale Collins
May 24, 201610 yr For Africa, South Africa in particular, take a look at "NMG Trading". Airports and surrounds are accurate and blend well with Orbx Global too, if you use it. Frame rates are not the best but they are probably the best option for South African airports. All their airports have installers for P3D.
