Windows 7 message on FSX start-up

Featured Replies

Hi guys wondered if anybody is experiencing changes to colour scheme on FSX start-up? I get a prompt saying  that The colour sceme has been changed to Windows 7 basic because certain parts are not compatable and the colour and textures look terrible  wonder if there is a workaround for this or if its a graphic card issue?

Thank you very much!

You need to re-start an Aero theme for W7, there are plenty of post`s around that give a tutorial on making a batch file or just use FSUIPC if you have the paid version.

Even so, this is a forum to support PMDG sims, it isn't meant for general FSX support. Anyway you will get more answers on the FSX forum for such problems.

Without giving you a lecture on what forum to use - this isn't a problem, it's a feature.  You will see this if you are using an Aero desktop. When FSX closes the desktop will revert to its proper setting.

All PMDG Forums require that you sign your first and last name to all posts that you make. See this -

http://www.avsim.com/topic/458101-guidelines-for-participation-in-the-pmdg-forum-please-read/.

Set it up so that is done automatically. Try this - click on your user name in upper right corner, click on My Profile, click on Edit My Profile, click on Signature, in Edit Signature enter your first and last name, click save  and your name will be on all of your posts.
