June 10, 20169 yr Author I will give that a try. Thank you sir. By the way, you stated that you are using both PTA and RSP. I thought PTA had everything that RSP has and then some. Yes but to have the same look you need to load that RSP ini into PTA so you dont have to figure out how to do it yourself Rich Sennett

June 10, 20169 yr Author No should I? Yes do I do it all the time - adding new textures - scenery driver updates - you should be doing this - after launching P3D You need those shaders to re-build so wait till its done  I will give that a try. Thank you sir. By the way, you stated that you are using both PTA and RSP. I thought PTA had everything that RSP has and then some. Mike here is the cloud sets I am using High Level = set 06 Low Level = set 16 Rich Sennett
June 10, 20169 yr Commercial Member Yes but to have the same look you need to load that RSP ini into PTA so you dont have to figure out how to do it yourself Ok, dumped the shaders and things are looking better now. Thanks for that. In regards to loading the RSP ini, can you expand on that? REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
June 10, 20169 yr Author Ok, dumped the shaders and things are looking better now. Thanks for that. In regards to loading the RSP ini, can you expand on that? Download PTA for your version of P3D - run it Download this pack here and unzip the ini file from RSP and go to file open in PTA to install RSP setting in PTA - just that do nothing else http://www.avsim.com/topic/489816-ultimate-realism-pack/ Make sure you backup your entire shadershlsl folder in your main p3d folder before doing anything Oh one more thing in menu in PTA go to apply for it to take or F9 - you should see a message it was successful Rich Sennett

I, unfortunately, did not backup my ShadersHLSL folder. Do you know of a way to restore my original v3.3 General.fx and HDR.hlsl files? Thanks for your help on this Rich. I dont have 3.3 versions - just update your P3D to 3.5 - 3.3 was a bit of a problem PM Sent Rich Sennett
June 11, 20169 yr I already had SweetFX. I did not remove that.. I simply ran this PTA along with my old SweetEx settings. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
June 11, 20169 yr Looking good bit to saturated but might be jpg quality That must be my SweetFX (Which I did have at high saturation). BTW I had not taken a back up of the ShadersHLSL. I thought the tool did take a backup and I could simply restore it using the tool. So not sure why lots of folks are regretting they had not backed up this folder when something went wrong. I am thinking if for any reason I was to reset, I can just uninstall and it rollback to prior state as it was prior to this tool. In any case I got the ShadersHLSL from my Acronis backup and put it somehwere for safekeeping. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

So I want to revert and put it back like I had not installed this. and then I want to remove the SweetFX that I have installed. Then I can reinstall this and activate it again Any ideas? June 11, 20169 yr This tool (PTA) is the best thing that happened to to our sim world... The blue mountains in the distance looks fantastic.. This is the only parameter I've been playing with ...This single feature has taken our sim to the stratosphere. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
