Personally not a fan of AMs, I run without anything but maybe you need to re-calculate your AM, seeing as how you enabled HT?

I just used the game's own FPS lock, didn't touch the config at all, my game is really smooth. Try adding a 30FPS internal lock to the FPS as well -- Or whatever you are aiming for?

Adaptive 1/2 Vsync does not function with p3d. You either need a monitor that has  30hz refresh then set vsync to on in p3d. Then maintain 30fps. Or if you have a 60hz monitor you have to maintain 60fps. Frame rate in P3d unlimited.

 

For ur cpu im not sure what AM you need. 85 or 116 i was using for my i7 4790k.

Testing with default scenery and aircraft and with 100-140 FPS, i don't have the smooth sensation i want... 

Sounds like you have other issues with your setup.

 

Try adding some pre-rendered frames with Nvidia Profile Inspector, under the P3D profile, in the "Maximum pre-rendered frames". Not sure if it even works with P3D but it's worth a shot. 3 should do it?

Tested with 3 and 2 option but no results... It's strange, view span is perfectly smooth but from the cockpit the scenery stutters a bit. 

 

Will test to disable REX textures, but don't think this can be the cause. I have 1024 clouds and all options enabled.

Tested disabling REX with no results.

 

I can achieve 50 FPS average in Aerosoft LEPA Evolution and NGX, and the sim looks smooth but not as silk... Some minor ¿stutters?...not smooth at all.

 

Can Windows 10 cause this issues?

No, unless something is wrong with the DVI connection.

Try it with frames unlimited then locked at 30 then say locked at 33.

With a 60hz monitor the only way to achieve smooth flight is to setup p3d so that it always maintains 60fps. Do this by changing graphic sliders in p3d. Once 60fps is achieved turn on vsync and triple buffering in p3d. You should now find it smoother.

 

Find the AM for your cpu and set that also. Not sure what it is for your cpu.

Interesting result Jose, I run a i7 4790 at 4.4ghz with a gtx970. I get the same FPS with the NGX and 777. I also had stutters. I found the only way to get over these was to run my TV / Monitor at 50hz refresh then set vsync on in p3d unlimited frame rate. I also use nvidia inspector to run SGSS x 4. As long as i keep frames near 50 

i get smooth flight.

 

Oh and i also have Affinity Mask set to 116 for my cpu.

 

I think this shows p3d much like fsx is more dependant on cpu rather than graphics card.

 

So Bob i'd prob say get a 9 series card. Prob going cheaper now the new cards are out and perhaps look at an upgrade to the cpu.

Have same hardware and for a long time and 50Hz set 50FPS , went very well .

Now I have  HT and AffinityMask= 116 and set  FPS  to 51 at 50 Hz , and now the Sim runs very smoothly with PMDG 777 or Aerosoft Airbus !
